The method by which discharged members of the Marine Corps should apply for the $60 bonus has been explained in a letter from Major Robert W. Voeth of the Paymaster Department of the Marine Corps. All former members of the Marine Corps are entitled to the bonus, and should apply to "The Paymaster, Headquarters U. S. Marine Corps. Washington, D. C." The following papers must be enclosed with the application: 1. Certificate of discharge; 2.--Orders to inactive duty (if any); 3.--Memorandum copy of final settlement on discharge; 4.--Certificate over your signature showing dates of enlistment and discharge from military service, since April 6, 1917.
Claims will be considered in the order of their receipt, and settled with the least possible delay.
