CRIMSON CALLS CANDIDATES

1921 AND 1922 BUSINESS AND NEWS COMPETITORS REPORT THURSDAY NIGHT.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Members of the Sophomore and Freshman classes who wish to enter the news and business competitions for election to those departments of the CRIMSON Board will meet in the CRIMSON Building tomorrow evening at 8.30 o'clock. At that time the work of the spring competitions will be outlined and instructions will be given for beginning work.

News competitors from the Sophomore and Freshman classes will work separately, so that the latter will not suffer from a more limited acquaintance with the University. All news candidates will be expected to cover assignments and write up news in a form suitable for publication. This is the last news competition open to the Class of 1921.

Men trying for positions on the business staff will be expected, in addition to soliciting advertisements and subscriptions, to do a certain amount of office work. Those who are elected will compete for the position of Business Manager during their Junior year. This competition will be the last chance for members of the Sophomore Class to become a business editor.

The spring editorial competition will not begin until after the Easter recess. It will be open only to Juniors and will offer the last chance to members of the Class of 1920 to be elected to the CRIMSON Board. All three competitions will end during the last week in May or the first week in June.
