The nine weeks' competitions for positions on the news and business staffs of the CRIMSON which start Thursday evening at 8.30 o'clock with a meeting of candidates in the CRIMSON Building, offer the last opportunity to compete for positions in these departments this year. They are also the last time that members of the Sophomore Class may compete for positions on the Board other than editorial. These competitions are open to members of the Freshman and Sophomore classes; the editorial competition which will start after the Easter recess is open to members of the Junior Class only.
At the meeting on Thursday night the nature of the work will be explained, and the details of the competition given. The contests will commence immediately after the meeting.
