In its sixth meet of the season, held Saturday at New Haven, the 1922 swimming team was overwhelmed by the undefeated Yale freshmen, by a score of 47 to 6. This brings the total of meets lost by the 1922 mermen to three, thus making the number of victories and defeats equal.

T. F. Baxter and W. Y. Peters were the main point gatherers for the University, each winning two places. W. W. Douglass was the only other member of the team to score. The summary of points won by the three place-winners follows: 50-yard dash--T. F. Baxter, second; 100-yard dash -- T. F. Baxter, third; 220-yard dash--W. W. Douglass, third; dive--V. Y. Peters, third; plunge--W. Y. Peters, third.
