WRESTLERS WIN FROM TUFTS

Captain MacDonell Wins Two Bouts in 10 to 7 Victory on Mat.

In the second meet of the season held Saturday in the Randolph Gymnasium, the University wrestling team defeated the Tufts matmen by the score of 10 to 7. Captain J. A. MacDonell '21 was the mainstay of the team, winning his first bout by a fall and gaining a decision in the deciding match of the meet with the opposing captain who outweighed him by fifteen pounds.

This is the second victory of the University team which won from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology last week by a 12 to 7 score.

The summary of matches follows:

125-lb. class--G. Baker '20 lost on a fall to Cohen of Tufts.

135-lb. class--J. Israelite '20 won from Shay of Tufts, decision.

145-lb. class--J. A. MacDonell '21, captain, won from Heard of Tufts on a fall.

158-lb. class--J. A. MacDonell '21, captain, won from Ruggieri of Tufts, decision.

175-lb. class--E. V. Parsonnet '21 lost to Ruggieri, decision.
