Thirteen crews have been tentatively seated from the 106 men who are reporting for the University squad daily. The eights have been divided into six sets, with the two crews of each set as nearly equal in strength as possible. The first set consisting of crews A and B, was seated as follows yesterday: Crew A, stroke, J. N. Borland '21; 7, N. Brayer '19; 6, D. H. Morris, Jr. '21; 5, J. F. Lindor '19; 4, D. A. Freeman '19; 3, W. Davis '21; 2, G. R. Brown '20; bow, S. Damon '21. Crew B--stroke, F. B. Whitman '19; 7, D. Leighton '19; 6, C. F. Batchelder, Jr., '20; 5, R. M. Sedgwick '21; 4, F. K. Bullard '20; 3, H. H. Faxon '21; 2, G. Sutton '21; bow, T. T. Pond '21.
Four University crews will be chosen shortly before the Easter recess, and the remaining men assigned to class crews. Every crew will have coaching, and will be in a race at the spring regatta. Jack Manning, soon to be discharged from the Navy, will have charge of the Freshman crews. Coach Haines will have the University crews under his care, and Coach Brown will manage the class eights.
