That the University intends to live up to its admirable war record in the trying times of reconstruction which we are now passing through was shown by the unhesitating decision to call off the Pasadena game at the request of the fuel administration. The trip would have been of undoubted advantage to the interests of the University, and its cancellation comes as a really great disappointment to all men who are interested in the welfare of Harvard.
