UNIVERSITY AND FRESHMAN SHARPSHOOTERS ARE CHOSEN

Bolton Again Captains Team; Holcombe Manager; Larger Schedule Expected.

The University Rifle Team is being better organized this year than formerly, and plans are being evolved for an excellent schedule with outside teams, as well as more thorough practice. S. K. Bolton '21, who led the team last year, is again captain, T. G. Holcombe '20 is manager, and P. E. Jackson '21 has been appointed assistant manager. These appointments are subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee and the Student Council.

Captain Bolton has announced the make-up of the University and Freshman teams in the order of selection as follows:

The University Team--C. J. Young '21, C. L. Wilson '20, S. K. Bolton '21, A. Rotch '21, R. Currier '22, A. L. Jacobs '22, S. Wheatland '21, W. B. Darling '22, W. H. Kenyon '21, W. G. Cutter '22; substitute, D. P. Wheatland Une.

The Freshman Team--E. G. Lund, G. T. Lippitt, D. Maxwell, J. B. Paine, Jr., H. H. Fuller, Jr., H. C. Stetson, J. J. Sack, G. Bolton, C. C. de Gersdoff, W. O. Clark; substitute, J. M. Forbes.

At present the rifle team is conducting its practice at the Bay State School of Musketry in Boston.

Two signed targets a week must be shot and handed in. The ranking of the competitors is determined on the basis of the results shown by these targets.
