On a basis of the length of time played in soccer games this year, 13 men have been awarded Association Football "H's", for the first time, subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee. In addition, the manager of the team is entitled to a letter. V. B. Kellett Occ., who was a member of the eleven in 1916, is the only man who was awarded his second "H. A. F."

The men who have won their letters are as follows: George Nathaniel Carpenter '21 of Castine, Me.; William Leverett Cummings '21 of Brookline; Paul Kingsbury Fisher '20 of Saranac Lake, N. Y.; Marston Heard '20 of Manchester, N. H.; Ralph Ernest Henderson '21 of Newton Centre; Vernon Brown Kellett Occ. of Hopedale; Valentine Everit Macy, Jr., '20, of Scarborough-on-Hudson, N. Y.; Charles Edward Masters '21 of Newton Centre; John Manning Phillips '22 of Andover; Charles Putnam Smith '21 of Arlington; Albert William Schmid '21 of New York, N. Y.; Gardner Tilton '20 of Lexington, Slater Washburn '20 of Worcester, and Ford Hibbard '20 of Brooklyn, N. Y., manager.

Fifteen Freshmen, including the manager, have been awarded the soccer numberals. Those who are entitled to their "1923 A. F." are George Grenville Benedict of Providence, R. L.; James Cheston of Chestnut Hill, Pa.; Nicholas Depopolo of Westfield; James Kimball Dow of North Andover; John Fletcher, Jr., of Greenville, Miss.; Randolph Wright Heizer of Cambridge; Raymond Henry Keegan of Springfield; Arthur Webster Morse of Boston; Allan Kennedy Murray of Yonkers, N. Y.; Edward Albert Borman of New York, N. Y.; John Pallo of Westfield; Harry Evelyn Door Pollock of Pasadena; Norman Tishman of New York, N. Y.; Borin Bradford Young of Brooklyn, N. Y.; and Robert Frederick Doolittle of New York, N. Y., manager.
