NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

(The Crimson invites all men in the University to submit signed communications of timely interest. It assumes no responsibility however, for sentiments expressed under this head and reserves the right to exclude any whose publication would be palpably inappropriate.)

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

In printing a communication on the Humphries meeting by the undersigned in last Saturday's CRIMSON an error was made which seriously misrepresents our position. In the sentence "Some of us do fear lest the suppression in America of free speech and check of the 'evolutionary' growth of industrial democracy, if continued, may lead to the same pitiful misery, violence and destruction as has accompanied the Russian Revolution," you printed the word "revolutionary" in place of our word "evolutionary."

In view of the hysterical state of certain portions of public opinion of this subject, we request that you attempt in so far as possible to remedy this misrepresentation. ROBERT WORMSER '22   JOHN ROTHSCHILD, Occ.   JOSEPH TURKEL '21   HAROLD M. FLEMING '20   ARTHUR FISHER 3L.
