Increase In Subscriptions is Expected as Result of Football Trip.
Only about $87,000 is needed by the Endowment Fund to bring the total to $11,000,000, and by Christmas it is expected that three-fourths of the desired $15,250,000 will have been raised. Daily contributions from all sources now average about $50,000.
A large increase in the subscriptions received from the western part of the country is expected after the football trip to Pasadena. Up to recently less than 9 per cent, of the 1500 graduates living on the Pacific Coast had subscribed to the Fund. It is hoped that several hundred thousand dollars will be subscribed, due to the presence of the football team in California.
