In the election for Senior class officers which was held yesterday Frederick Keil Bullard of Revere was chosen First Marshal, Frederick Church, Jr., of Lowell, Second Marshal, and Robert Wales Emmons, 3rd, of Boston, Third Marshal. The total of 410 Seniors who went to the polls broke by 40 the record of ballots cast made in the elections of the class of 1917.
The complete list of men elected is as follows:
First Marshal: Frederick Keil Bullard of Revere.
Second Marshal: Frederick Cameron Church, Jr., of Lowell.
Third Marshal: Robert Wales Emmons, 3rd, of Boston.
Treasurer: Burnham Lewis, of Haverford, Pa.
Orator: Slater Washburn, of Worcester.
Ivy Orator: Edgar Scott, Jr., of Lansdowne, Pa.
Poet: James Gore King, Jr., of New York, N. Y.
Odist: Paul Rice Doolin, of St. Albans, Vt.
Chorister: John Varnum Spalding, of Newton Centre.
The election of Marshals was conducted under the following rule: "Every voter shall vote for three candidates for Marshals, indicating his preference for First Marshal. Of the three elected, that candidate receiving the highest number of votes for First Marshal shall be elected First Marshal; of the other two elected, that one whose total vote is higher shall be Second Marshal, and the other one Third Marshal."
