BAND PLAYS AT UNION TEA DANCE

Management Gives First Affair of This Kind from 4 to 6.30 Today.

The University Band will play at the tea dance to be given in the Living Room of the Union from 4 to 6.30 o'clock today. Tickets for this dance, which is an innovation on the part of the management, may still be obtained at the front office and are priced at 75 cents each. Mrs. A. Lawrence Lowell and Mrs. Matthew Luce have consented to act as patronesses. The band, which consists of 30 pieces, was organized this fall and has met with uniform success at all of the dances at which it has played.

As this dance is an entirely new undertaking, it is dependent for its success on the enthusiasm with which it is received by members of the Union. If it meets with their support it is very probable that several more dances will be given later, both in the afternoon and evening.
