So many men have expressed a desire to play squash and squash racquets in the evening, that the Department of Physical Training has agreed to open Randolph Gymnasium on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights from 7.30 to 9.30 o'clock for the first time in the history of the building.
Tonight will mark the inauguration of the new system which will be continued throughout the year. To pay the overhead costs of keeping the building open, which includes the salary of an attendant, the Department has arranged to issue coupon books, which will enable a man to play for an hour at the small cost of ten cents.
Contrary to the usual practice, these books are transferable, but to enter the building in the evening, the book must be presented to the attendant. Tonight they will be on sale only in the gymnasium but later they may be procured either there or at Weld 3. These books can be charged on the term bill if the purchaser so desires.
