1923 Soccer Team Ties M. I. T.

The 1922 soccer team wound up its season on Saturday by tieing the Massachusetts Institute of Technology players, 1-1, in a very evenly-balanced game. All of the scoring came in the second half. A brilliant rally on the part of the yearlings in that period carried the ball down the field and enabled Cheston to put it over for a goal. A few minutes later Ruiz of the visitors evened the score. Two extra periods failed to break the tie although both sides fought fiercely to gain an advantage.
