YALE GAME APPLICATIONS DUE

WILL DEFINITELY CLOSE NEXT THURSDAY.--NO PUBLIC SALE OF TICKETS.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All applications for tickets for the Harvard-Yale football game will positively close on Thursday evening at 6 o'clock, according to the final statement made by F. W. Moore '93, graduate treasurer of the H. A. A., yesterday. It was further explained that any rumors to the effect that tickets would go on sale publicly after that time were entirely unfounded, since there are only 48,000 seats for some 70,000 possible applicants from both universities.

Record Application Expected.

Appearances so far indicate that this year there probably will be a record number of applications as already a total of 3,426 has been received from the University out of a possible 5,000 and many more are expected during the rush of the last few days. These figures are inclusive of the members of the graduate schools as well as the undergraduates but do not include applications from members of the Faculty as the latter are classed under the head of graduate applicants.
