The 1923 soccer team was easily defeated by the fast Worcester Academy representatives Saturday afternoon on Soldiers Field by the score of 12-1. The Freshman association men could not seem to get under way against the superior all-round work of the Worcester players, and the latter succeeded in piling up a total of 12 points while the yearlings were collecting their lone tally, which came in the first half.
