Talk on Conditions in Modern China

Next Monday at 4.30 o'clock the Right Reverend Logan Herbert Roots '91, D. D., Bishop of Hankow, will give the first of a series of three lectures at Reed Hall, Episcopal Theological School, Brattle street. The other lectures of the series will be given at the same time and place on Thursday and Friday of the com-week.

The topic which he will discuss is as follows: "The Situation in China Today--Modern Social, Political and Religious Conditions." Bishop Roots is one of the few men in this country qualified to talk on this subject, and as the question is of current interest the lectures will be open to the public.
