Figures just compiled by the Princeton Was Records office show that 287 citations and decorations have been awarded to Princeton men during the war; 22 decorations were won by men who graduates before 1900, while the class of 1919 had eleven who were either decorated or cited. Of these decorations and citations, 79 were American, 180 French, 18 British, 16 Belgian, 17 Italian, four Greek and one Montenegrin.
