All members of the University are invited to the first of the University teas to be held this afternoon from 4.30 to 6 o'clock in the Parlor of Phillips Brooks House. This tea marks the first of the annual series of teas that will be held weekly throughout December, January and February with the exception of the Christmas recess and the mid-year examination period.

These teas are designed to give students an opportunity to meet informally members of the Faculty and their wives so that closer and more cordial relations may be established between members of the University and the officers. By attending these teas students come in contact with the men who are most prominent and interested in the affairs of the College and graduate schools.

It is the custom to invite professors and instructors by departments and alphabetically, and this week professors in the Music, Anthropology, and English departments, and all other members of the Faculty from "A" to "D" have been invited. Several members of these three departments have already signified their intention of being present, and several more are expected to come. Those who have accepted are: Professors F. N. Robinson '91 and B. S. Hurlburt '87; Associate Professor I. L. Winter '86; Assistant Professors E. A. Hill, W. C. Heilman, A. and R. W. Coues '95.
