Winter Rowing for Freshmen Begins

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Nearly 100 men reported at the meeting of Freshmen held yesterday to discuss the plans for the continuation of rowing throughout the winter. Wendell Davis '21, crew captain, gave a short outline of the arrangements that have been made.

Coach Haines spoke briefly on the value of the winter practice, and made suggestions as to the form the work should take. It is now planned to have the boathouse open every day during the week, with the exception of Saturday. Mr. Haines will give the men rowing in the tank individual instruction from 2.30 to 5.30.

Those men who did not attend yesterday's meeting should report to the Newell Boat House this afternoon, when practice starts. It is essential, also that all men who elect rowing notify Mr. Geey at Weld 3.
