Although reports from New York last night showed that city to have passed Boston by $350,000 in the Endowment Fund campaign, nevertheless the Boston committee made an excellent showing by reporting $491,000 for the day, thus bringing their total to $1,700,000, with many outside districts yet to be heard from. The figures from the Greater New York district showed a total of $2,050,000.

Of the individual subscriptions reported yesterday the largest was one for $100,000 donated by Vincent Astor '15, of New York. others were four of $25,000 each and one of $10,000 from New York; one of $25,000 from Boston, and one of $1000 from Professor F. W. Taussig '79.
