The University nine won an easy victory yesterday afternoon when it defeated the Old Colony Trust Company team by7 a score of 17-1. It was a rather uninteresting game on account of its one-sidedness. The University batters found their opponents pitching very easy, and hit Beattie at will. The Old Colony men put up a good fight, but the result of the game was never for a moment in doubt after the fifth inning. In all 12 men played for the University at one time or another.
