The captain of the University cross-country team will be elected today at a meeting of the first squad in the Locker Building at 3.30 o'clock. The usual custom of allowing only "H" men to vote will not be followed, owing to the disorganization caused by the war, so that every man on the first squad will be eligible to vote.

There will be no practice at Belmont this week, all of the running being over the Cemetery course here. On Friday a cross-country team will represent the University in the steeplechase at the American Legion Carnival at Braves Field.
