CARDINAL MERCIER.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The name of Cardinal Mercier has been added to the long list of church princes contributing to the glory of history. He denounced the German outrages in fearless terms and gained, through his bold utterances, the love of his people and the respect of the world.
