Large Number of Soloists to Appear--Seats On Sale Oct. 11.

This year, under the leadership of Pierre Monteux, the Boston Symphony Orchestra announces the program of soloists for their thirty-ninth season of Thursday evening concerts in Sanders Theatre. The soloists are: Oct. 16, Albert Spalding, violin; Nov. 13, Vera Janacopulos, soprano; Dec. 18, George F. Bayle, plano; Jan. 15, Joan Bedetti, cello; Feb. 12, Martha Baird, piano; March 4. Laura Littlefield, soprano; April 1, Albert Stoessel, violin; April 22, Magdeleine Brard, piano.

Following the usual plan, subscribers of last season will have the first opportunity to buy tickets, and may receive the same seats by filling out and mailing the blanks which will be furnished for the purpose with a check for $7, payable to George H. Kent, University Book Store, on or before Tuesday, Oct. 7. On receipt of check, tickets will be mailed.

The unclaimed seats will be offered for sale at George H. Kent's Book Stove. Harvard Square, on Saturday morning, Oct. 11, at 8 o'clock. A limited number of seats have been reserved for College officers and invited guests.
