"The 1922 Red Book is financially successful," was the report issued by the business manager, R. P. Parker. To date, the net profits amount to $330 received and more than $300 due on unpaid advertising contracts, totaling $630. In addition to this figure, the business manager reports that more than 50 unsold copies of the book are on hand. These copies will be put on sale at the Co-operative stores for two dollars a copy.
The expenses for printing the book totalled $2363,31, all of which was easily covered by the return from advertising contracts. The other expenses were more than covered by the subscriptions.
The total profits of this book will go into the class treasury, and will in all probability be used to meet the expenses of the 1922 Senior Album. No advertising is ever done in the Album, and consequently the book is usually a financial loss.
