WIND PREVENTS REGATTA OPENING

Both Yesterday's and Today's Events Will Be Rowed This Afternoon.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All of the opening crew races of the fail regatta which were scheduled to take place yesterday were called off on account of the high wind. One or two of them were started, but the wind made conditions so erratic that no results were counted.

It was decided last night to race the same crews today that were scheduled to row yesterday, and also to run the races that were originally scheduled to come off today. Accordingly, Thayer 1 will race Elliot 1, Thayer A will race Elliot A, and the Freshman dormitory crews will race this afternoon instead of yesterday afternoon. Also the individual races between singles, comps and wherries will take place today as originally planned.

The Freshman dormitory races will be divided into two groups, the first between the three Freshman third crews and the second between the three fourth crews and one fifth crew from Smith. The second Freshman crews will not race.
