Professor Mather A. Abbott, head coach of the Yale crew, has accepted a position as headmaster of the Lawrenceville School and will leave Yale to take up his new duties next month.

Professor Abbott taught Greek for nineteen years at Groton School, incidentally giving instruction in rowing. When Guy Nickalls left as head coach in 1917, Professor Abbott assumed charge and has coached successfully ever since.
