Gardiner Tilton '20, of Lexington was elected captain of the University Soccer Team for 1919-20 at a meeting held yesterday afternoon in the Locker Building. Tilton prepared at Andover and captained his Freshman team in 1916, playing consistently throughout the season.

Practice yesterday afternoon consisted of about two hours of hard scrimmaging, Captain Tilton, V. B. Kellet Occ., G. N. Carpenter '21, and P. K. Fisher '20, showing up particularly well.

A practice game is planned for this afternoon between the University and a scrub team to be composed of graduate students. This is to put the team in condition for the game with Andover on Saturday, and it is hoped that all former University players or any other soccer men from the graduate schools will be on hand for the practice.
