Winchester Captains 1923 Harriers

John Gordon Winchester of New York City has been elected captain of the 1923 cross-country team. Winchester won his "A" at Andover, running on the relay team and middle distance events, and placed first in the intramural meet last Tuesday, covering the four-mile course in 26 minutes and 29 seconds.

Today at 12.30 the 1923 cross-country team will meet the Medford High harriers on the Cemetery course in the first race of the year.
