Sharpshooters Turn Out in Force

At the first meeting of the rifle team, held Thursday evening, about a score of University and an equal number of Freshmen candidates reported. Men who have not handed in their names, but who desire to try for the teams, should see Manager T. G. Holcombe '20, in Hollis 20.

Practice will begin immediately at the Bay State School of Musketry, Boston, where reduced rates have been obtained for members of the teams. Two targets a week are to be shot by contestants and signed by the man in charge of the range. The first targets are due October 25.
