Advocate Calls Candidates

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The winter competition for the literary and business departments of the Advocate will begin tonight. The contest for the literary staff will be of indefinite length, depending on the amount of matter accepted from the candidate. An editor will be in the office, 1388 Massachusetts avenue, opposite the post office building, from 1 to 1.30 o'clock daily to receive and criticize contributions from competitors.

There are four more issues of the Advocate this year in which candidates may have articles published. The next issue will come out January 16.

At a meeting of the Board at 5.30 yesterday afternoon, Elisha Whittlesay 1B., was elected president. I. J. Williams '20 remains treasurer, and J. G. King, Jr., '20, secretary. Thirteen members of the board were present.
