Freund Awarded Ames Prize

The Faculty of the Law School announces the award of the Ames Prize to Ernst Freund, J.U.D., Ph.D., Professor of Jurisprudence and Public Law at the University of Chicago, for his book on "Standards of American Legislation".

The Ames Prize is awarded at intervals of four years. It consists of a bronze medal and a sum of not less than $400, and is awarded to the writer of the most meritorious law book or legal essay written in the English language and published not less than one nor more than five years before the award.
