The University hockey team did not play the game with the Boston Hockey Club which was scheduled for yesterday afternoon. Instead, several members of the Navy Yard seven combined with men chosen from the University hockey squad and opposed the first team. Hutchinson, Norton, and Downing were the visiting players. The game developed into a practice scrimmage in which Avery, Robinson, and Humphrey scored the three goals.
The Freshman game with Browne and Nichols was played yesterday on the new rink. On account of the condition of the ice, the game was of an informal nature, and many substitutions were made. Baker, Banes, and Pratt scored the three goals for the 1922 team.
