CLASS DAY FESTIVITIES WILL NOT BE CURTAILED

In spite of the unusual conditions caused by the war, present indications point to a successful and relatively well-attended Class Day for 1918. Over 150 Seniors, or approximately one-third of the active members of the class, were sent tickets as a result of the first application. The second application, and the general undergraduate and graduate application will remain open until June 9. Blanks may be secured at the Cooperative, Leavitt and Peirce's, the H. A. A., the Harvard Club and the Harvard Alumni Association, and the tickets will be placed on sale during the latter part of the current week. Undergraduates and graduates who march with their respective classes may secure one free Yard and Stadium ticket at a time to be announced later.

The program for the day has been announced as follows. Dr. Albert Parker Fitch '00, who was expected to conduct the Senior Class Chapel Services, is sailing for France this week, and Professor Edward Caldwell Moore has consented to act in his stead.

The Program.

9 A. M. The Senior Class will assemble in front of Holworthy and march to Appleton Chapel, where prayer will be offered by Professor Edward Caldwell Moore.

10.15. Sanders Theatre will be open to ticket holders.

10.45. The Senior Class will assemble in front of Holworthy and march to Sanders Theatre.

10.55. Sanders Theatre will be closed to all but Seniors.

2.00 P. M. Yard will be cleared and tickets will be required of all persons found in the Yard, and those who enter thereafter.

2 to 11. Music in Yard.

3.30. Seniors assemble in front of Holworthy.

3.45. Seats in the Stadium will be open to ticket-holders.

3.45. Graduates, the three lower classes and the Glee Club assemble in the Yard.

4.15. Graduates, the three lower classes and the Glee Club march to the Stadium. Seniors, led by class officers, march around the Yard, cheering the buildings under the Tree.

4.30. Seniors march to Stadium.

7 to 11. Illumination in the Yard.

8 to 11. Dancing in the Harvard Union.

9. The Glee Club will sing on the steps of Widener Library.

In case of rain a special program will be put into effect. It has been found necessary to insist that all persons entering the Yard after 2 P. M. shall have Yard tickets; no exception whatever will be made to this rule. The dancing in the Union Class Day evening will be strictly informal.

The Committee will hold office hours daily from 12 to 1 in Holworthy 18 from now until Class Day.
