1918 ALBUM TO APPEAR JULY 1

Committee Encountered Difficulties in Obtaining Photographs.--To Include Honor Roll in Album.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

As most of the class of 1918 are in military service, it has been impossible for the Photograph Committee to get all the photographs desired for the Senior Album. Luckily, however, the 1918. Freshman Red Book commenced the practice of printing photographs of the members of the class, so that, when other sources failed, we turned to it for the necessary pictures. This had to be done in comparatively few cases, for most of the men in service were able to respond with photographs of themselves in uniform. Out of a class of 725 pictures of 700 men were obtained.

In the group pictures of Class officers and the like, it was not possible to include all the members. In each case, therefore, the photograph had to be taken when the largest number of those desired were in Cambridge.

In addition to the usual features, this year's Senior Album will contain an Honor Roll of the men of 1918 who have been killed or wounded in the war, together with a list of men who have received decorations from any of the allied armies. Through the generosity of Professor Copeland, we are also able to publish extracts from the letters of our classmates who are in the service.

The Album was a bit late in going to press, for this year the material necessary for publication was particularly hard to obtain. The Album, therefore, will not be on sale until July 1, but orders may be sent to the 1918 Photograph Committee. As usual, the price is six dollars. 1918 Photograph Committee, ELISAH WHITTLESEY,
