Not until the last of the doubles at Princeton, when F. M. Warburg '19 and J. S. Levy '19, rallying from a score of 4 to 2 made against them by Smith and Grey, scored four straight games and won their set was the match with the Princeton tennis team decided in favor of the University. In the singles, Middlewitch and Fletcher won the only two matches for Princeton by defeating E. B. Benjamin '18 and Warburg, while C. C. Claflin '20, A. E. Kirk '20, W. W. Rice '18 and J. S. Levy '19 each conquered his opponent. In the doubles, Benjamin and Rice suffered defeat at the hands of Fletcher and Dunn in a three set match, and Claflin and Kirk were easily put aside in a two-set match by Middlewitch and Goldman. These two defeats made the score in points between the two teams even.

The Freshman team playing against Yale 1921 at New Haven divided evenly the points in the singles and doubles.
