University Will Not Enter Relay

At a meeting of the Athletic Committee called by Dean Briggs for last Tuesday evening, it was decided not to enter a University team in the Pennsylvania Relays, which take place on April 26 and 27. This action was taken because of the understanding with Yale and Princeton that the three colleges would not engage in formal intercollegiate contests except among themselves. Earlier in the season the project of sending a relay team to Philadelphia was considered, but at that time it was temporarily dropped only to be revived and brought to the attention of the Athletic Committee Tuesday night.
