The Lord Archbishop of York, the eminent British churchman, will preach tomorrow at the regular Sunday services in Sanders Theatre at 11 o'clock, in what will be his first appearance before a Boston gathering. The noted English prelate, who has addressed enormous crowds in New York City and at Camp Upton during the last week, will make a three-days' stay in Boston.
Tomorrow the gallery of Sanders Theatre will be open to the public, while the first balcony and the floor of the hall will be reserved until 10.55 o'clock for students of the University, as well as for the Faculty and their families.
Active in War Endeavors.
Since the beginning of the war, Dr. Lang has been particularly active in all manner of war endeavors, and his mission in this country is primarily to strengthen the ties which already bind the people of this country and England.
Besides his appearance at the University tomorrow morning, the Archbishop will speak at Trinity Church in the afternoon, at St. Paul's Cathedral in the evening, in Symphony Hall Monday evening, and at Faneuil Hall Tuesday noon. Members of the University may obtain tickets for the Monday night meeting in Symphony Hall any time today at the Phillips Brooks House.
