SENIOR ELECTIONS MARCH 12

Many Ballots Already Received From Men in Military Service.

The election of men to the 1918 Class Day Committee, the Class Committee, and for Secretary, which was first scheduled to take place tomorrow and later postponed, will be held on March 12. This change was necessary because it was feared that the large number of Seniors in the service could not be heard from in time. As the ballots were sent out only three weeks ago, the 1918 Nominating Committee hopes to hear from many more men by waiting an extra week. The final day on which votes will be received from Seniors in the service is March 14. The results of the complete election will be announced on that day.

Considering the difficulty of reaching men of the class now in the army or navy, a large number of ballots have already been returned. There has been a good deal of trouble, however, because of men failing to sign their ballots, or not voting for the right number of candidates in each case. All incomplete ballots must, of necessity, be thrown out. Ballots from men in the service must be signed, and there must be crosses in the squares opposite the names of seven men in the case of the Class Day Committee, two in that of the Class Committee, and one in that of Secretary.
