FRESHMAN CLASS CHOSE H. H. FAXON PRESIDENT

HUMPHREY VICE-PRESIDENT

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The election of Freshman Class officers, which was held in the Standish Hall Common Room yesterday, resulted as follows:

President: Henry Hardwick Faxon, of Quincy.

Vice-President: Richard Sears Humphrey of Milton.

Secretary Treasurer: John Archibald Sessions, of Northampton.

Representative to the Student Council: Carl Senff Stillman, Jr., of Wellesley.

The voting was done by the Australian ballot, and the candidate receiving the highest number of votes for each office was elected. The number of men that voted was 294, but a few blank ballots in the election of Vice-President and the Student Council Member slightly lowered the total vote for these two offices.

The following table is an accurate analysis of the vote cast for each candidate: PRESIDENT. H. H. Faxon,  236 E. L. Bigelow,  58 VICE-PRESIDENT. R. S. Humphrey,  154 D. F. O'Connell,  80 A. W.
