Tonight the University Musical Clubs will give a concert at Winchester under the auspices of the Sigma Beta Society. All proceeds from the program are to be given to the Red Cross.

At present there are several positions open on both the Glee and Instrumental Clubs, trials for which will start on Monday evening. Freshmen, as well as members of the three other classes, are eligible to compete for these positions. Candidates for the Glee Club will be required to sing a solo, while prospective members of the Banjo and Mandolin Clubs will be asked to play, from memory, if possible, some selection.

An unusually extensive schedule of trips has been arranged for the Musical Clubs for the half-year. According to present announcements, concerts are to be held at Winchester, Chestnut Hill, Newton, Lowell, Norwood, Ayer, Bumkin Island and Hyde Park.

Bernard Jonathan Mattuck '18, of Brooklyn, N. Y., chorister of the Senior Class, has been appointed leader of the University Glee Club. He will succeed M. A. Shattuck '19, who has left College to enter the Cadet School of the First Naval District.
