The spring competitions for the illustrated will begin this evening when business candidates from 1919, 1920 and 1921 will report at 6.30 o'clock, while news and photographic men will report at 7 o'clock. No previous experience in any branch is necessary. The business competition consists of securing advertisements, office work, with some clerical work.
The news competition brings new in close contact with prominent figures in public life and gives a knowledge of all phases of University life. Photographic candidates will gain experience that will be valuable in warfare.
Candidates will compete for only 12 weeks, when the elections will be held.
