The cadets of the Ensign School of the First Naval District will be awarded reserve ensigns' commissions in Sanders Theatre this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The principal speakers at the graduation exercises will be President Lowell, Captain James P. Parker '96, N. N. V., commandant of the School, and Admiral Wood, commandant of the First Naval District, will also speak.

Commissions will be awarded to 122 men who have successfully completed the three-months' course of training. One hundred and fifty-one men started the course last fall and of this number five have resigned, four have been dismissed for refractions of discipline, eight more dismissed on account of failure in the prescribed studies, and 12 failed to secure the marks in their studies required for an ensigns' commission.

The Ensign School was originally located at M. I. T., but was moved last October to the University. The exercises on Monday will close the second session of the School, the first session being held at M. I. T. last summer. The third session of the School will begin February 18.
