UNIVERSITY TO MEET BOSTON COLLEGE ELEVEN

GAME STARTS AT 2

The University service eleven is ready for the game with Boston College tomorrow afternoon at the Stadium. During the past week a lot of hard practicing has been done so that the team is in fine condition for the contest.

R. F. Guild '05 and Ensign W. B. Snow '18 have been down at Soldiers Field for the past few days assisting Coach W. F. Donovan in drilling the men in the finer points of football science.

Under the critical supervision of Coach Donovan the squad has been giving its best in the practice scrimmages. For one reason or another several of the positions were not definitely settled during the earlier part of the week, which gave rise to a lively competition for the doubtful places.

Boston College has also been hard at work for the game. A short time ago the Boston College team was the victor in a 13-0 contest with the strong Camp Devens representatives. Since then the team has been crippled by the departure of six of their regulars for O. T. C. camps. However, due to the Government's announcement that men in O. T. C. camps will be released at once, it is expected that these men will be back at Boston College in time to be in the line-up tomorrow.

Captain E. J. Daly, tackle, will be in the University lineup, leading the team, and B. Hunneman, fullback, who injured his knee a short time ago, has recovered sufficiently to permit him to start the game at his favorite post.

Philip Coburn has been doing some fine punting and drop-kicking, and will be in place when the referee's whistle sounds tomorrow at 2 o'clock.

The whole team has been well drilled and should put up both a good offensive and defensive game. Boston College has proved a hard eleven to conquer, and will fight every bit of the way. Cheering sections have been reserved for both units and the University band will provide the music.
