1919 YARD TENANTS MAY SIGN

FUTURE OCCUPANTS OF SENIOR HALLS CAN APPLY FOR ROOMS.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Applications from members of the Class of 1919 for rooms in the Senior dormitories are due in the hands of the Senior dormitory committee by Monday, January 21. For the two-week period beginning next Monday, a member of the committee will be in Randolph 37 daily, except Sunday, from 4 to 6 o'clock, to receive the applications and to offer information about the dormitories. The Senior dormitory committee consists of the following men, all from the Class of 1919: R. E. Gross, chairman; E. A. Hill, R. Hoffman, R. McA. Lloyd, W. W. McLeod, W. R. Odell, J. H. Quirin, M. A. Taylor, B. W. Thoron, F. M. Warburg.

Last year 347 members of 1918 made application for rooms in the five Senior halls, Hollis, Holworthy, Matthews, Stoughton and Thayer. Because of the decreased enrolment in this year's class, it is expected that one of these five buildings, probably Matthews, as the other four make a unified group, will be omitted from the list of the Senior buildings. The committee has printed plans of the halls, giving the location, rental fee and description of the rooms.

Advised to Form Groups.

It has been advised that the Juniors form in groups, the largest of which may contain 12 men, with not more than two men in a room; for such groups are given the preference in the allotment. All men who entered with the Class of 1919 or who finish their course in the college year of 1918-19, are eligible to make application. Requests for rooms containing ineligible names will receive no recognition by the committee. In filing applications, men are asked to indicate their first preference and at least 20 other selections, in order that they may obtain desired locations.
