GUEST CARDS FOR YAPHANK MEN

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Six-month guest cards have been issued by the Harvard Club of New York to the 51 members of the University who are going to the third officers' training camp at Yaphank, commencing January 5. These cards have been made out in accordance with the list of names furnished by the Military Office and are awaiting call at the front office of the Club. The cards are of the special issue for military men, extending over a period of six months, and every 'Club privilege is possible with the sole proviso of cash paid for extra facilities enjoyed. Each card will bear the name of its holder, and on the back such information as the House Committee has seen fit to place there.

The Club has already extended its privileges to 500 officers whose names were submitted by the commanding officer at Yaphank, and has now added to that number the undergraduates who will attend the third camp. These men will be given all privileges for the building without the usual membership requirements and fee.

The Club building is situated at 27 West 44th street. It contains a swimming pool, four squash courts, showers and baths, and a large number of bed-rooms. Use of all these may be obtained by the holders of cards upon payment of the usual fee.
