Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
Because the "times seem inappropriate for the usual festivities," the New York Harvard Club has indefinitely postponed its annual dinner. In place of this usual reunion and in order that those members of the club who are not absent from the city on war service may learn of the progress of affairs at the university, and particularly that they may hear of the important part which the members of the University are having in the war, a meeting of the club will be held next Saturday evening at 9 o'clock. President Lowell has promised to be present. Colonel Paul Azan of the French Military Mission, will also speak.
Announcement has been made that 870 members of the club are engaged in actual military service.
