The first delivery of the 1917-18 University Register will be made next Thursday, January 24. As the copies arrive from the printer they will be distributed to the subscribers and will be placed on sale at the Co-operative. It will also he possible for subscribers to obtain their volumes at the Register office, Weld 46.
The unusually late appearance of the Register this year is due to a number of causes, the chief being that in the fall, work was started three seeks later than usual. Besides the handicap of ordinary war conditions, the insertion of a war directory was responsible for much of the delay, for it was desired to get the latest possible information on men in the service. This list is necessarily somewhat inaccurate, though the information is correct to the editors knowledge.
The new issue of the Register will contain essentially the same statistics and information as last year's volume, on which the present board has based its policy. The aim of the board has been for accuracy throughout, and an earlier publication of the book has been sacrificed to this end.
